The headquarters of the Hà Nội Old Quarter Management Board, this restored turn of the century ‘tube house’ was opened in 2000 and now offers visitors information, maps and guided walking tours of the Old Quarter. The lower floor is used to display photographs of Hà Nội’s old streets and remaining antique buildings, whilst the upper floor incorporates the offices of the Board and its library of information on restoration and preservation projects in the Old Quarter which is open to researchers on request.
