Nam O beach, lying in Hoa Hiep ward, Lien Chieu district, is 17-kilometers northwest to the city’s center. It is said that Nam O means at the south of the ancient O territory (Nam: south, O: O territory).

Hai Van Pass, which is surrounded with clouds and confronting the sea, is located in the mountain.
