Located in Hamlet 4, Phong Thanh commune, Gia Rai District, Bac Lieu Province, Noc Nang field is recognized as a historical and cultural monument by the Ministry of Culture – Sport – Tourism.
Located 7km from the Bac Lieu Town, The Xiem Can Pagoda exists itself as the biggest pagoda of Khmer community and the most splendid pagoda in the South Vietnam that feature rich Khmer culture with its unique architecture style.
Location: located at Ward 3, Bac Lieu Town, Bac Lieu Province, Minh Pagoda was built by a group of named Minh Huong headed by Tran Thiet Thuan, the chairman of VInh Huong Village. The pagoda was originally constructed from 1890 and completed in 1923.
Being famous as one of twelve provinces of the charming Mekong Delta, Bac Lieu is popularly considered not only as a granary, coastal salt-fields but also luxuriant gardens laden full of fruits and trees. Additionally, Bac Lieu homes vast protective forests and precious bird garden imprinted in the memory of visitors of many generations.
